Corruseal participates in shaping those standards through active membership of PAMSA (Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa) and Fibre Circle, and through SMETA/Sedex compliance across our Boksburg, Western Cape, and KZN sites. We collaborate with customers, regulators, and industry bodies to advance responsible packaging across the South African market.
Innovation is how a circular packaging economy gets built. Corruseal invests in modern paper-making technology – including the recent rebuild of our PM6 paper machine at Enstra – and in lightweight paper grades that reduce material use without sacrificing strength. From responsibly sourced raw materials to efficient manufacturing processes, our innovation programme focuses on measurable reductions in environmental impact.
Corruseal manufactures recyclable corrugated board and paper packaging designed around the specific needs of each customer – and around the realities of South Africa’s recycling infrastructure. By prioritising recycled-content fibre and recyclable mono-material designs, we help our customers move away from plastic packaging and toward a true closed-loop system. The recycled paper we collect through Corruseal Recycling and Planet Care feeds directly back into our own Enstra Paper Mill, producing 100% recycled-based containerboard.
